Small Blue

The small blue is found on coastal sand dunes and semi-natural calcareous grassland in Ireland. It has disappeared from colonies on the south coast and declined at many eastern sites. The existing populations are severely fragmented and there is continuing declune in area of occupancy, quality of habitat and number of locations.

It is endangered in Ireland, critically endangered in Northern Ireland.
