Orange Tip

The orange tip is common and widespread in Ireland. It is found in many habitats including fens, cutover bogs, wet grassland, gardens and hedgerows. Males mostly frequent the edges of forests whereas females frequent meadows.

It is categorised as least concern in Ireland.
