Grayling

The grayling can be found in open, dry situations that combine bare ground, sparse vegetation with fine-leaved grass and warm aspect. They ary principally found in coastal areas and warm inland slopes.

The overall status and future prospects for the main Grayling habitats are poor and it is therefore categorised as Near Threatened in Ireland.
